Check-out

Guests

You are not simply looking for somewhere to sleep.

You are choosing how a rare week will feel. TAMSI is one villa, one household, on an island most people never reach, kept the way I would keep it for a friend. Here is how my guests tend to spend a day.

The infinity pool, still and clear, loungers along the far edge.

Swim

A sandy path through coastal planting toward the open sea.

Move

Two guests dining at a long table beside the pool at sunset.

Eat

A grazing board and poured wine on a table at the pool's edge.

Drink

Wicker chairs and a drinks table by the pool as the sun drops.

Watch the sunset

A stone bridge crossing the pool toward the waterfall rocks.

Explore

The Villa

Open to the air on every side, built from island timber under a high pitched roof, the villa sits inside the jungle with the sea held in the gap between the trees. It is a house to live in slowly: long mornings, bare feet, the doors folded back. Not a room to check into.

The villa at dusk, warm light inside the open-sided timber structure, jungle all around.
The 35-metre lagoon pool curving past natural rock and a low waterfall toward the sea.

TAMSI Lagoon

A 35-metre pool shaped like a piece of the coast, running from the waterfall rocks to the loungers at the far end. The water is still enough to float in and long enough to swim properly. In the afternoon the forest shades one side and the sea holds the light on the other.

Where the evening begins.

The garden faces the sunset, and most days end here first — a drink poured while the sky turns, then dinner brought out under it.

The Apéro Garden lounge at dusk: wicker seating and lanterns beside the pool, the sea catching the last colour.
A low table set on the sand with lanterns and glasses as the sun burns on the horizon.

Stay for the sunset.

Champagne, a chilled rosé, small plates carried down as the light goes. Choose how you want the evening set:

Sunset Board

A grazing board for the golden hour

Champagne Sunset

A bottle on ice as the sky turns

Private Sunset Table

Set for two at the cliff's edge

Sunset Pool Experience

In the water, drink in hand, until dark

Let me show you my island.

The shoreline below the villa, water breaking over dark rock.

Fishing with local fishermen

Out before dawn with the men who have always worked this water. Bring back what you catch.

The pool, the waterfall rocks and the stone bridge in full daylight.

Island in Style

The whole island in a day, done slowly and done well — driver, stops chosen for you, lunch arranged.

A sandy track running out through low planting toward the sea at dusk.

The Other Siquijor

Quiet paths, hidden falls, the parts of Siquijor that never make the map.

Still water and low seating at the garden's edge in the late light.

Wellness & Massage

A therapist to the villa, a table set in the shade, the sound of the pool doing the rest.

I am Tamsi.
This is my home.

Not a resort, and not trying to be one. This is a private house on a small island, opened to a few guests at a time.

I built it around the way I like to live here, slowly and outdoors and close to the water, and I keep it that way for whoever comes next.

So the house is waiting, the garden is lit, and the only thing left is for you to write your part of the story.

The villa and pool together at dusk, warm light spilling out toward the trees.
The open sea seen through the planting at the edge of the property, no other building in sight.

The island came first.

Siquijor sits off the edge of the usual route: a flight, then a boat, then the last quiet drive. People here still talk about the island as a place with its own weather and its own reputation, half healing, half folklore.

The distance is the point. By the time you reach the gate, the trip has already started, and the island has already begun to slow you down.

I kept a few more.

Odd hours, mostly: the pool before anyone is up, the garden while the fire catches, the walk down to the water. It photographs well. It is better in person.
